Tongue Twisters

                                        Laclede CAT Regular

Tongue Twisters are sequences of words difficult to pronounce, especially rapidly, because of alliteration (repetition of sounds) or a slight variation of consonant sounds, as "She sells seashells by the seashore."

They are a great wat to practise and improve pronunciation, fluency and accents. They are not just for kids but also for teenagers or adults who want to sound clear when speaking. Watch and read carefully the slides of the Power Point Presentation below which includes some of the most popular English tongue twisters. Say them as quickly as you can. If you can master them, you will be a much more confident speaker!
