Heathens is a song written and recorded by the band 21 Pilots. It was released as a single for the soundtrack of a famous DC comics motion picture in 2016.
In June 2016, 21 Pilots tweeted a message in Morse code which read "takeitslow!, a lyric taken form the song Heathens. On the same day, the song initially leaked onto the WEB. The following day, it was revealed that the song will be featured on a motion picture soundtrack for an American superhero film based on the DC Comics. The soundtrack was launched on August 5, 2016.
